Social Engineering

Social engineering is a kind of criminal related to computer using. It is caused by an outside hacker's tricks in order to obtain information the hacker needs to access to the system. Also, it's to get information from a person without breaking into a system. Moreover, everyone seems to agree upon is hacker has a clever control skill to make people trust him. Always, the hacker's purpose is to gain illegal access to an important system and information. Social engineering is not exactly the same as hacking. Social engineering attack takes place on the physical and psychological. On the physical attack, the hacker attacks in the workplace, your trash, and on the phone.
For example, the hacker walks into your workplace and pretends like a maintenance worker or consultant who has access to the organization. Another way to get information to access a system is just watching employee’s type in his password.
These explanations tell us how dangerous social engineering is and, also, how to protect our information from that danger. I think it's not easy, but, if the security to keep information inside the organization is completely built, the information will not leak out.

What I Want To Learn about Computers

I used to have my own internet on my desk. However, I lost online suddenly like Ikaros because of the rise of ADSL(I used dial up at that time). Therefore, I use that computer for only TV monitor. Now I use one computer at home sharing with my family, but I cannot always use it because of my three young siblings. Anyway, let's get to the point.

What I want to learn about computers is skills that will be neccessary to do something in daily life and on business. For example, when I want to make CG poster, I will need some skills. Also, if I want to edit a video that I record, I will need some skills. Then, I want to learn PC's language if I can to know the computer deeply. I know it's complicated and makes me confused.

I wrote many, but now I think all things I wrote are high level. So I want to finish to learn Micro soft office first. And, After that, I would touch them if I could.

Probably, the most thing I want to learn is just about computer. History, how they work, structure of hard drive, or how to make the computer...

My History with Computers

I met the computer when I was 5 grade in elementary school.
At that time, I used Windows 95, and only I did is playing video games.

Then, in junior high school, I began to use Windows 98. It was nice because it was better than 95. I learned how to use Excel, Word, and Power point. But now I hardly remember all things I learned.

From that time, I began to use the Internet. At first, we need the dial-up-line to access the Internet. However, it required too much time, so it was so uncomfortable.

Today, I have LAN at home. It's easy to use. Everyone can use it. So, people who can use only the Internet are increasing.

Anyway, I likemto use the computer because it's usuful and sometimes comfy.
Recently, I joined some social net working sites(mixi, Myspace, etc...). They are usuful because I can connect always with my friends as if they and I are in the same room.
Furthermore, I began to keep blog as a Journal. It is interesting because I think it has big potential to be everything to tell something to the world.

There is my history with computers. It's so simple, huh?

P.S. I like video games, so I plan to buy new PC gamesoft after I get a new computer.
My computer in my room is already dying.
